This project is one of my favorites because of the amount of creative freedom there was to it, and how many ways you could interpret the assignment. The idea was to create yourself as a calavera skull for Day of the Dead. I took a lot of inspiration from the colorful skulls and painted faces and really love sunsets, so I decided to give myself a colorul, sunset-inspired face paint in Photoshop. I also continued work on this project on my tablet with the Photoshop app, which made it easier to draw and add on details to make it really look like a face-painting.
